I’m Tessa Jensen. I have one delightful husband, four feral children, two obnoxious dogs, and a needy cat. My brain operates on the waves of metaphors and imagery, with magnificent displays of fire and water making a home at the forefront of my mind since my earliest memories.

As a born observer of human nature and behavior, I have realized that one word can symbolize a hundred different events, emotions, and memories. As such, I’ve observed many a comical and tragic misunderstanding.

To what end, then, do I write? To entertain and to illustrate in a story what often goes misunderstood and politely ignored in our conversations.
